Zinc Oxide in Workplace Atmospheres

This method is for the collection and analysis of zinc oxide in workplace air.  The sample is collected on a tared polyvinyl chloride (PVC) filter.  After collection the particulate on the filter is suspended in tetrahydrofuran (THF), deposited onto a silver membrane filter, and analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRF).
