Method 2515

Diazomethane by GC/FID

This method is for the determination of diazomethane. The sample is collected on octanoic acid-coated XAD-2 resin, desorbed in 1 mL of carbon disulfide and allowed to stand for 15 minutes, and analyzed by GC/FID. The working range is 0.1 to 0.6 ppm (0.2 to 1 mg/m³) diazomethane for a 10 L air sample. NOTE: This method revises Method S137.
