Method 2505

Fufuryl Alcohol by GC/FID

This method is used for the determination of furfuryl alcohol. The sample is collected on Porapak Q sorbent tubes, desorbed in acetone and analyzed using GC-FID. The working range is 4 to 150 ppm (0.01 to 0.05 mg/m³) for a 6 L air sample. NOTE: This method revises NIOSH Method S365.
