This method describes the analysis of trichloroethylene. The sample is collected on charcoal sorbent tubes, desorbed in carbon disulfide, and analyzed using GC/FID. The working range is 27 to 875 ppm (150 to 4700 mg/m³) for a 3.4 L sample. This method is applicable to STEL (short term exposure limit) determinations. Note: This method combines and revises Methods S336 and P&CAM 127.

* The analytes and detection limits listed for each method represent the typical detection limits and analytes reported for that particular method. Keep in mind that analyte lists may vary from laboratory to laboratory. Detection limits may also vary from lab to lab and are dependent upon the sample size, matrix, and any interferences that may be present in the sample.
