Method 1013

Propylene Dichloride by GC/FID

This method is for the determination of propylene dichloride. The sample is collected on charcoal sorbent tubes, desorbed in 1 mL 15% (v/v) acetone/cyclohexane followed by a 30 minute ultrasonic bath and then analyized by GC/FID. The working range is 0.05 to 130 ppm (0.25 to 600 mg/m³) for a 2 L air sample at about 90% relative humidity. Note: This method revises P&CAM 321.
