This method is for the analysis of vinyl bromide by GC/FID in ambient air. The working range is 0.3 to 33 ppm (1.3-145 mg/m³) for a 6 L air sample. The sample is collected on charcoal sorbent tubes and analyzed by GC/FID after desoprtion in ethanol, followed by ultrasonic agitation. Note: This is Method P&CAM 349 in a revised format.

* The analytes and detection limits listed for each method represent the typical detection limits and analytes reported for that particular method. Keep in mind that analyte lists may vary from laboratory to laboratory. Detection limits may also vary from lab to lab and are dependent upon the sample size, matrix, and any interferences that may be present in the sample.
