This method is for the collection and analysis of titanium dioxide from workplace air. The sample is collected on a mixed cellulose ester membrane (MCE) filter. After collection the filter is digested with nitric acid, solubilized with sulfuric acid and ammonium sulfate, and analyzed by ICP (inductively couple plasma).
