Morpholine


This method is for the collection and analysis of morpholine.  The sample is collected on a silica gel tube.  After collection the sample is desorbed with 0.05 M H2SO4, made basic with 1.2M of NaOH and analyzed by GC/FID (flame ionization detector).

This method is validated over the range of 28.4 - 108.4 mg/m3.  Siica gel has a high affinity for water so morpholine may not be efficiently trapped in the presence of high relative humidity.
