Method PV2053


This method is for the collection and analysis of resorcinol from workplace air. The sample is collected on an OVS-7 tube.  After collection, the sample is desorbed with methanol and analyzed by GC/FID (flame ionization detector).

Holding Time:   Analyte recoveries were greater than 94% when stored for 14 days at ambient and refrigerated temperatures.

Collection Method:   The method recommends a 1.0 L/min. flow rate with a 60L sample collection volume.
