Method Phospholipids

Phospholipids by HPLC/ELSD

This method is for the determination of phospholipids from soy lecithin.  The sample is diluted with chloroform:methanol and analyzed by high performance chromatography with evaporative light scattering detector (HPLC/ELSD).

Phospholipids are extremely temperature sensitive and the sample should be kept frozen from the time of collection to analysis.
