Method 70

Pyrethrum by GC/ECD

This method describes the sample collection and analysis of pyrethrum. Samples are collected by drawing known volumes of air through OSHA Versatile Sampler tubes containing a glass fiber filter and two sections of XAD-2 adsorbent (OVS-2) tubes. The OVS-2 is a specially prepared glass tube containing a glass fiber filter and XAD-2 resin which will collect both vapors and aerosols. Samples are extracted/desorbed with toluene and analyzed by GC using an electron capture detector.

No Obligation Quotation for Analytical Services

* The analytes and detection limits listed for each method represent the typical detection limits and analytes reported for that particular method. Keep in mind that analyte lists may vary from laboratory to laboratory. Detection limits may also vary from lab to lab and are dependent upon the sample size, matrix, and any interferences that may be present in the sample.
