Method 5518

Naphthylamines

This method is for the determination of alpha- and beta- naphthylamine. The sample is collected on glass fiber filters followed by silica gel sorbent tubes, desorbed with 0.05% (v/v) acetic acid in 2-propanol, and then analyzed by GC/FID. The working range is 0.003 to 0.07 mg/m³ (0.0005 to 0.01 ppm) for a 50-L air sample. Note: This revises P&CAM 264.
