Method 5010

Bromoxynil and Bromoxynil Octanoate by HPLC/UV

This method is for the determination of bromoxynil and bromoxynil octanoate. The sample is collected on PTFE membrane filters, and extracted with 3 mL acetonitrile for 60 minutes, followed by HPLC analysis with ultraviolet detection. The working range is 0.02 to 0.3 mg/m³ for a 100-L air sample. This method permits the simultaneous determination of both analytes.
