Method 108

Hydrazine

This method is for the collection and analysis of hydrazine from workplace air.  The sample is collected on 3-piece cassette containing two sulfuric acid treated glass fiber filters.  After collection, the filters are extracted with a buffered ETA disodium solution, derivitized with a benzaldehyde solution to form benzalazine which is anlayzed by HPLC with a UV detector.
