o-, m-, p-Toluidine by GC/ECD


This method describes the sample collection and analysis of ortho-, meta-, and para-Toluidine. Samples are collected closed-face by drawing known volumes of air through sampling devices consisting of three-piece cassettes, each containing two sulfuric acid-treated glass fiber filters separated by a spacer. Analysis is performed by quantitating the heptafluorobutyric acid anhydride derivatives of the amines by gas chromatography using an electron capture detector.
