Petroleum distillate fractions


This method describes the sample collection and analysis of petroleum distillate fractions (PDF). Samples are collected by drawing a known volume of air through charcoal tubes. Samples are desorbed with carbon disulfide and analyzed by gas chromatography (GC) using a flame ionization detector (FID).
